Narvijay Yadav, a media entrepreneur, travel blogger and philanthropist,
has been a successful journalist for over two decades before venturing into
the field of Public Relations and Corporate Communications. Born in
Budaun (Western UP) on 24 December, 1964, he did B.Sc. (Biology) from
the reputed University of Allahabad. He also holds a Post Graduate
Diploma in Journalism & Mass Communication (PGJMC).
Narvijay is a passionate media professional, full of enthusiasm, creativity
and positive thinking. He started his journalism career in July 1988 from
reputed English Daily ‘Free Press Journal’ (Indore, MP) and played key
roles in the launching of India’s Largest Hindi Newspaper ‘Dainik Bhaskar’
(Chandigarh) and another Hindi Daily ‘Rashtriya Sahara’ (New Delhi),
besides the ‘Kuber Times’ (New Delhi).
Having been associated with both sides of the media, Narvijay knows the
verve of the media industry. As a journalist, he has victoriously handled the
post of Defence Correspondent in New Delhi during 1996-97. Reporting
for the Ministry of Railways, Science & Technology, Health and Civil
Aviation is another feather in his cap. He covered Bharatiya Janata Party
(BJP) and Parliament proceedings during the Vajpayee Government.
Narvijay launched his own company ‘Specttrum PR’ in January 2008. He
launched ‘Specttrum News’ (Web News Portal) in January 2013. He is
empowering Indian farmers through his registered NGO ‘Prakash
Foundation’ and a Hindi News Portal “Prakash News”. He is also
promoting Responsible Tourism in the Himalayas through his start-up ‘Yatra Hills’.
Narvijay has been closely associated with various organizations i.e. Public
Relations Council of India (Ex-Joint Secretary); Mahabodhi International
Meditation Centre, Leh-Ladakh (PRO); Indian Science Writers
Association (Life Member) and Chandigarh Press Club (Member).
